The coverage provided under the Service Contract is for the repair and replacement of part(s) and component(s) in the event the product stated in the Service Contract Certificate / Sales Invoice / Receipt fails to operate as a result of Mechanical or Electrical breakdown only and only to the extent provided by the manufacturer of the product under the manufacturer’s warranty and extending the warranty period for a further duration beginning on the expiry date of the manufacturer’s warranty and expiring on the Expiry Date for the Service Contract as stated in the Service Contract Certificate / Sales Invoice / Receipt.
The Service Contract only covers a Product which:-
i. Is purchased new from our shop.
ii. Manufactured for domestic and personal use in Malaysia only
iii. Included at the time of purchase the manufacturer’s complete and original warranty valid in Malaysia
The repair and replacement cost of the component(s) or part(s) (including labour charges) or in total for all claims in the aggregate is limited up to the Retail Purchase Price of the Product paid by the purchaser stated in the Service Contract Certificate / Sales Invoice / Receipt.
Replacement parts will be new, original or OEM parts that perform to factory specifications of the product determined by our shop.
Notwithstanding anything to the contrary stated above, if any cost of repair or aggregate of repairs is likely to exceed the prevailing market value of the product or the Retail Purchase Price, then a replacement item of the same product or a product of similar functionality or quality and/or specification or lower less allowance for deterioration and depreciation due to market value will be offered at our discretion. Due to technological advances, the replaced product may be of a lower retail value than the faulty product offered in settlement and the coverage under that Service Contract will prematurely terminate on the date that the product was replaced. Upon replacement of the product, the faulty product shall become property of our shop.
The Service Contract coverage will not, under any circumstances, extend to any loss or injury to a person or loss or damage to property or any incidental, contingent, special or any direct or indirect loss or consequential loss and consequential damages including but not limiting to losses incurred due to any delay in rendering service related to this Service Contract and loss of use during the period that your Product is at an authorized repairer and/or while awaiting parts.
a) Appearance or structural items, such as housing, glass of any description, paint, color, case or frame, finishing, cosmetic parts, decorative parts or parts designated to be replaced periodically during the life of the product (consumables), add-on items, non operation item, accessories or attachments, external wiring and cabling, all type of batteries and battery chargers, external hoses of any description, door assembly, door gasket, racks, bins, bulbs of any description, fuses, knobs, handles, antennas, remote control, stylus.
b) Panel screen crack or broken or damage or scratch or dented or chip off (by any mean).
c) Any kind of image burn (burnt mark) or image retention or color faded.
d) Any kind of oxidation, corrosion, or rust.
e) Any items not affecting the function of the product.
f) Any accidental or non-accidental damage to the product.
g) Damage caused by unauthorised repair personnel.
h) Unauthorized repair or replacement of parts made to the products.
i) Normal routine maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, adjustments, setting or alignment.
j) Problems or defects or breakdown caused by unauthorised modifications or failure to follow the manufacturer’s installation, operation or maintenance instructions.
k) Normal wear and tear items not integral or necessary to the functioning of the product or routine service, or if the wear and tear on the part has exceeded the field tolerances allowed by the Manufacturer.
l) Problems or defects due to lack of maintenance as required by the manufacturer.
m) Any problems or defects, breakdown, malfunction not covered by manufacturer’s warranty.
n) Any problems or defects, breakdown, malfunction still within manufacturer’s warranty.
o) Any defects which are subject to a manufacturers recall or quality issue or which are covered under a manufacturers program of reimbursement.
p) Weak or unclear signal reception due to reception and/or transmission problems resulting from external causes, modem or data transfer devices or analog to digital converter.
q) Costs of removal or reinstallation or transportation after the product are replaced.
r) Faults in any wiring, electrical connection or plumbing, which is not part of the Product.
s) Products with removed or altered serial numbers or IMEI numbers are not covered.
t) Any problems or defects by fire, theft, burglary, explosion, accidental damage, neglect/negligence, spilled liquids, excessive heat, malicious damage, misuse, or abuse.
u) Any problems or defects by Acts of god including but not limited to earthquake, storm or tempest (wind), sand, water, flood, rising water, lightning, aircraft, riot, vehicle impact.
v) Any problems or defects by battery leakage, power outages or surges, inadequate or improper voltage, or current, improper environment or environment factor, animal or organic or insect infestation, animal urine.
w) Breakdown caused by any operation system, software, storage data, computer virus or realignment to products and defects resulted directly and/or indirectly from software update, outdated, installation and removal.
x) Consequential losses of any kind and transportation damage.
y) Cost or charges arises due to no defect found or any type cancellation of repair by the purchaser.
z) Commercial usage, rental or used for profitability.
aa) Any failure, malfunction, defect, inoperability, breakdown, disruption or stoppage of the product or any product functions or the function of any related components caused by, arising from or related to directly or indirectly any design, planning or engineering compatibility, omission or deficiency with the incidents of the year 2000.
a) Within the manufacturer’s Warranty – Contact the Brand Manufacturer directly.
b) After Manufacturer’s Warranty but within the Service Contract Period – Please call our shop during operating hours for repairer appointment.
c) If the breakdown part is not covered by this Service Contract, you will be charged for the cost of repair.
This Service Contract cannot be transferred to any subsequent owner of the product and other product. In the event the product is replaced directly by the manufacturer, the customer must inform our shop and provide the Manufacturer Job order and Model /Serial number of the new product within ten (10) days of the replaced product.
a) This Service Contract is non-refundable and cannot be cancelled under any circumstances upon purchase.
b) The Service Contract will be terminated in the event of the product has any unauthorised repair, replacement or modification on the Product and no refund will be given.
This is the entire agreement between our shop and the purchaser of the product that is entitled to a Service Contract and no other oral or written representation is valid. In the event of any inconsistency between the English text and text in other languages, the English version shall prevail.
THIS SERVICE CONTRACT IS NOT AN INSURANCE POLICY. IT IS A SERVICE CONTRACT PROVIDING REPAIRS FOR COVERED DEFECTS. IT DOES NOT PROVIDE ANY GUARANTEE OR PROMISE RELATING TO THE NATURE OF THE MATERIAL, WORKMANSHIP OR PERFORMANCE OF THE COVERED PRODUCT.
